April 6, 201016 yr comment_79697 Schefter reckons he ends up with Cards/Steelers, I don't see him coming to us with absolutely no shot at starting The Cards already are holding 2 QB's, I sincerely doubt they're going to be interested in a 3rd. There's not many other legit starting opportunities left. Maybe Buffalo. Maybe Oakland. But why would you want to go to either of those spots anyway? Report
April 6, 201016 yr comment_79699 Seriously, why does anyone want this guy. I know what he once was, but it has been 4 years since that point. How long are people going to hold on to an old memory? For the last three seasons, Bulger has not simply been off his game, but has been awful. I get the idea some want a veteran QB. Okay, fine. Then go get one who can at least manage a game for you. Bulger can't. The Cards already are holding 2 QB's, I sincerely doubt they're going to be interested in a 3rd. There's not many other legit starting opportunities left. Maybe Buffalo. Maybe Oakland. Bulger can't. Bingo. Bulger's been a train wreck the past three seasons. He's like David Carr - the guy was clearly good at one point, but he's just too shell-shocked to make decisions on the field. I would have loved to bring in a guy like Shaun Hill to back up Cutler, but the Lions got him. Hill's basically the ideal backup: he's proven that he can hold down the fort, but he's OK with not having a legit shot at the starting job. Guys like that seem to be hard to come by, though. I can't think of many ideal backup QBs apart from Hill, Chad Pennington, and maybe Kerry Collins. Report

I think it was Biggsy that said that Bulger is looking to go somewhere to restart his career instead of being the career backup. Sure he once was good with Martz but he is now 33. How much does 1 think he still has left. I am happy with Cutler and Hanie. Report
