Why not? Don't think it really will happen, as the Jets and Dolphins are much more interested, but intriguing nonetheless. He is a 3-4 system guy and at 6-2 270 pounds much too big of what we need at LB. Now if he could play DE it might be a different story. Forte turned a screen pass against the Lions into an 89-yard touchdown, the longest reception by an NFL running back since the Falcons’ Jamal Anderson had a 94-yarder on Sept. 23, 2001. Since he joined the Bears in 2008 as a second-round pick from Tulane, Forte leads all NFL running backs with 127 receptions for 1,099 yards and ranks third in the league with 3,316 yards from scrimmage, trailing only the Titans’ Chris Johnson (4,147) and the Vikings’ Adrian Peterson (3,805).
