This isn't a very strong CB FA class and it's always pretty difficult for us as fans to pick a CB to sign because it's up in the air as to which CBs fit into the cover-2. January 1, 201115 yr comment_87046 If there is such a thing as a free agency period next year...given that the Bears D is relying on a number of "win now before they're gone" type vets, the Bears would be silly to not try to address some of those positions through FA this year.
