Where the hell is Gabe Carimi going to play next year? Looks to me like the Bears found their new RT by accident. Lance Louis has been insane since he's been inserted into that RT position. And suddenly nobody is talking about Jamarcus Webb anymore, which is a good thing. Louis doesn't really look like a tackle by NFL standards, but he certainly plays like one. It will be interesting to see what happens next year when Carimi comes back. I honestly don't know where you play the kid.

I would leave Louis at rg and Carimi at rt. I think that gives the right side an identity for the next decade. If they are dominant it will apply constant peer pressure to the left side. I'm still for drafting an lt early.

If a quality one is available for a bargain, maybe. But this isn't a need right now...the need is for a better LT fill-in replacement than Omiyale. Omiyale should be off the roster, and $1-2 million should be invested in a Spencer-quality backup to give the left side a little more depth.

 

WR is still need 1 to me, and the defense could use some more depth at a number of spots.
