Bears re-sign CB Tim Jennings

Featured Replies

Smart move. They need help at CB but with Bowman and him FA's, you need to at least bring one of them back. I expect them to potentially look at a veteran signing and possibly even a draft pick.

I've never loved him, but he's been pretty good since he's been here and I saw a tweet that said he didn't give up a TD last year. I'd like to see some competition at the starting CB spot, but this is a start.

Hits harder than any other 5'9 guy around..... And bowman just sucks

It's crazy that he's only 1 of 2 CB's in the whole league to not have allowed a TD last year. Like terra said, he can hit pretty hard too. I just wish he could hang onto the ball. I counted 5 dropped picks last year from him.

There's every reason to think this is a position the Bears will look to add more people to, but now they're in a good spot where they can use one of their 3rd round picks or that 2nd rounder on a CB if there's one they like, and he deosn't have to step in and be the #2 CB on day 1.

I like this signing. Jennings was solid for us and this gives us some depth at a position of need. Sign or draft a starter and as I write this Terrance Newman just got cut. Not that I necessarily want him.
