The Chicago Bears signed former Illinois defensive end Derek Walker and waived tackle Tyler Henderson on Tuesday.

 

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Walker played four games with the Chicago Rush last season, recording two sacks and an interception. Undrafted out of Illinois in 2009, Walker entered the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks.

 

Hendrickson was an undrafted rookie out of Concordia (Minn.).

Thanks for the info. There was a nice article in the Trib about how good Corey Wootton (although we heard that last year) and other d-linemen like Paea and Mcclellen are looking.

 

At this point Walker is likely trying out for the practice squad.

And yet low and behold Wooten will be on IR come Week 2 after all of it... wish him the best tho cuz he was great in college
