Schefter reports William Beatty has signed a 5 year deal to stay in NYG. There goes one of the better LT free agents.

Giants make significant off-season move: NY signed offensive tackle Will Beatty to a five-year, $38.75 million deal, per sources.

Close to 8M...Players can usually make more on the open market so Albert would probably be looking around 9M.

William Beatty was a top 5 LT in the NFL this year. He's also only 27 years old. He would've been a perfect addition. Oh well. :banghead

He is going to get a good payday, but think more in the range of Beatty's contract.

I think Beattys contract will be a starting point for teams bidding on Albert. Some team will probably overpay a bit from that stand point. I'd say it'll be somewhere in the 8-9 range.

We will see.
