Preseason Game #2

Featured Replies

Obviously for me the rookies starting in the O Line will be my #1 concern.

Want to see Cutler succeed. Hopefully the WR's will all play. No excuses! This offense needs to look professional tonight.

We'll get a good idea of who the coaches are likely to cut at various positions.

Is Peppers playing? If so I sure hope we get more pass rush than last week. Even if he isn't, there's no excuse for that.

Starters will play a quarter or so if history is any indication. Has Nerdman said otherwise?

Would it be so bad to see Forte hit an actual hole the line opened for him?

And, of course, let's stay healthy!

I'm looking for continued play of Wilson, bostic and frey

First and foremost, NO INJURIES of any significance. Hence why I'm all for less participation by the starters.

I think this will be 'lower tier' players making their case for staying around through the next round of cuts. Webb might be one of them.

It won't be until game 3 (IMHO) before we get a better idea of how well our starters and overall team outlook will be for the season. And really know who will be cut before the 53 man roster.

Notice they ran the first play lol, no first play int. That's an improvement I guess. The rest was bad, ball was held onto way to long.

Long's got some fire. Helping Marshall up, screaming at him, plus holding his own so far on the right side. Made some nice plays, physical and athletic.

good second series. The right side of our OLine (rookies Long/Mills) look pretty damn good to me.

Long has looked legit so far. Guy is a best, strength-wise.

He also puled real well on a run.

I never woul have guessed he was going to throw to Marshall.

McClellan and Wooten have loked pretty great tonight. How many passes in a row has Cutler thrown to Marshall?

Actual lanes opened up in running too. These rookies are looking good. Best I've seen the right side play in a while.

Bostic just killed a man!

That was the hardest/legal hit I think I've seen since Reggie Bush got drilled in a playoff game a few years back.

Bostic just killed a man!

Got to admit im still on road so won't watch til sat. I'm listening to it and I heard the thud and it made me cringe. Gotta ask did the dude even get back up

He got up, but Briggs said he just got up out of pride lol.
