well now that would just be silly. Week 17 if we clinched already would be a different story though.

Maybe he is planting the seed for Philly to do the same. We are essentially in the same position if DAL or GB win, Week 16 would only impact seeding and not a playoff berth. However, I can't see either team doing that because you play to win every game.

Would be incredibly stupid to rest players and fall to the 4th seed. Good luck getting past San Francisco in the 1st game, and then Seattle in the 2nd if you get there. If you get the 3rd seed you may play the Saints and Panthers in the 1st two games instead. You tell me which route looks less daunting.

I stand corrected. The team did apparently take the week off.

I am wondering if this somehow played a part in that ugly display we saw last night. I really hope this was all part of a bigger plan.
