Poles made the hard choice to start a full rebuild. In the NFL most try to win quick because its a win now league. The easy part was getting rid of the older payers and setting up the cap to be very beneficial moving fwd. Poles should get a ton of credit for choosing what looks like the right coaching staff. Playing with about 100 million of Dead cap space the Bears have been in every game this season. I think we have a great staff, still a little early to tell but they have impressed me with what they are doing with the roster they have. Where I think Poles has failed = Justin Fields is the most important piece of the future, he could have done waaaaaay more to help in the development of Fields this season. Everyone knew Oline was a huge issue, he attempted to get Bates from Buf (they stopped it) he should have had other plans once that failed. A young QB needs time in the pocket to get comfortable, its well documented how fast the defense is getting to Fields and how often. This can be very bad for the development of Fields. WR - another area that everyone knew was a very weak spot on the roster. Would have liked Pickens in the 2nd, instead he took Brisker who looks to be a good player. Checking next years FA class and Draft class it looks to be short on WR's.... the reason he traded for Claypool. Next years FA class looks to have some good Safety's but we are set at Safety because we took Brisker...... By going full rebuild Poles will either succeed on his terms or fail on his own terms.... He wont be able to blame anyone else. This next offseason should be an entertaining one.

The Green Bay Aaron Rodgers are not looking to hot..... a lot of Packer fans around me have already stopped watching, shows how loyal of fans they are..... This is a lot of fun watching.

Z Smith looks like a cut option. I just don't see how the Packers get better than last years squad with having to subtract to get under the cap.

With Watson running a 4.3 do you guys think his 2nd to 3rd round projection will hold true. Playing in 1AA could help with him not moving into the 1st. I just see 6'4 and 4.3 speed with a 38 inch vert and think someone will take him in the 1st. His highlight reel looks impressive too.

Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon started 9 games at QB. Their stats are absolutely terrible. Daniel Jones the other 11, his stats were better but still not good. So i ask is it the QB, the WR's or the WR coach?

Im sorry to get negative but George screwed up. If Jim Harbaugh was available he was the only HC candidate in this years hiring cycle that was a NO brainer. George could have hired Jim and even if it failed no one could question why he hired Jim. If Eberflaus fails and Jim wins in MN George is going to look like the dumb ass we already know he is. Does George get a 4th chance at fixing the Bears????? After the presser , I really Like Poles. Eberflaus didnt wow me but he didnt piss me off. If they win this post will never get brought back up.

It's wild that the team kept playing hard through this whole season. I thought it was indicator that Nagy had a good locker room culture built. It most likely was the Players and not Nagy. That will be huge moving forward.

If the Nagy blowing off Mitch story is true (which I did not believe at first) and this story is true then I 100% blame Nagy for this shit show even tho Pace did him no favors by being average at best. Now that aRob came out and told this story I am leaning towards the Mitch meeting blow off being true. At that point in Nagy's tenure he should have been doing anything and everything to try to get Mitch to succeed.

Media really talked up Quinn and his ability to bring in a great coaching staff. He already has his guys lined up. I look forward to seeing who Eberhaus brings in and will compare to Quinns. If they were going defensive minded HC I would have liked Quinn because he has experience as a HC where he won and went to a SB. His resume is also really good as well. He came up the ranks in Seattle. Having a new GM that has never been a GM I would have preferred to bring in Quinn because he has already been in the hot seat of the HC. Poles picked Eberhaus... Let go Boys!!!! Bring us to the promised land. Not sure I can handle being back in this same situation 4 years from now.

Emery's mis on the HC and the way he treated 54 tells me everything i need to know. He is a dumb ass. Add on that Emery and Trestman asked Mel Tucker to run a defense he didnt know makes me want to puke again. The Bears have made me sick to my stomach way to many times. I pray Bill Polian has fixed that. lol

reading the article you posted that went over the Bruce / Trestman Screw up really made me want to puke. Just think about where this franchise could be if Ballard was hired and not Emery. The Emery/ Trestman hiring put the Bears back 3 to 4 years at a minimum.

IF these are the 3 finalists, I would say at this point Im a little underwhelmed. Maybe Daboll isn't a polished candidate yet, that would suck if we passed on him and he goes on to be a great HC. Ive interviewed some guys that killed it in the interview and sucked donkey balls on the job and vice versa guys that were not great in the interview and studs on the job. Out of these 3 i would rank them : 1. Quinn 2. Caldwell 3. Eberhaus

The Bears have had 2 attempts at developing an offense around two potential QB's. Jay Cutler and Mitch Trubisky. Jay, I feel they failed miserably. Mitch they did a better job but still I feel they did not put him into the best situation to succeed. Just look at Allen and Mahomes. What do they have around them? 1st = Great Coaching, 2nd = solid Oline and 3 = Pass Catching Weapons. Not just 1 WR but multiple weapons. Poles and the new coach MUST build an offense around Justin Fields. If Fields does not pan out, you hopefully can draft the right QB or sign a Vet to plug and play.

Agreed 100%.... IF he demanded picking his own HC I hope they didn't say it had to be from the 3 Finalist they selected. Its safe to assume that if he picks from the 3 that is what was agreed upon. IF he has 100% free rein to pick whoever he wants then we would for sure see at least one or 2 other guys interviewed.

If Poles wants to secure his job for the next 10 years he will get him to come to the Bears....that is if Sean isnt retiring. On espn 1000 this morning Kap said Payton told Pace to NOT take the Bears job, they are a shitty org. Hes not wrong. lol

Da Bear Blog on twitter says Pole will interview Caldwell, Eberhaus and Quinn. Not sure if the list gets longer than that. I wouldnt mind seeing him bring in some other coaches to interview as well. Would like to see where his head is at.

This shows it wasn't "hire my guy". I like it. I also like who he learned from. John Dorsey knows talent.
