Ding Ding Ding! The more and more I've thought about it over the weeks, the more I think Cutler is a better O-Coordinator and talent evaluator that Turner, Smith, or Angelo.

My guess is they had the wrong number.

FWIW, great pass to Bennett and an even better throw to Knox.

Yet another reason this coaching staff....
Here is why the coaching staff should go: Against a truly pathetic team, we got a small lead and then played it safe the rest of the way. Winning teams don't "play it safe". They go for the throat. They go out and score as many points as possible (within reason). "Good enough" is a losers mentality.

I Feel Bad For Jay Cutler
3 of those 5 werent his fault. He cant help it if you throw a ball to a guy and he falls down, runs into a ref, or gets run over by a DB. Hell, that las INT was forced because no on was open and time was almost out.

I Feel Bad For Jay Cutler
Ok, that 5th pick makes me less sympathetic.
-
I Feel Bad For Jay Cutler
1) He is going to get shit for throwing 4 INTs, when 3 of them werent his fault. 2) This O-Line is going to get him killed.

Paths of former SB losers...
Wow, the Raiders have been so bad (they haven't won more than 5 games since that Super Bowl season) that I completely forgot they were in the 2003 Super Bowl.

Kreutz Future: Do We Trade Him?
I think everything is on the table if it makes us a better team in the long term.

If Lovie really believes this he should be fired.
If you want to look at this from a pure money standpoint, if you want to fire Angelo and Lovie...wouldnt it make more sense to bring in Shanny to be the Bears GM and coach? You can let go two people and fill the void with one. PS: what's the going rate for a good GM these days? i know top line coaches are $5+ million.

Starting to think we start over, Angelo on down
I want a job in the Audio/Visual area of Sodiers field.

Do the Bears Send a Message and Cut Tommie?
yes, cut him. He wont be back next year anyways and he's been a big baby the last 6-12 months.
-
If Lovie really believes this he should be fired.
Cutler and him seemed to get along pretty well. He's probably my first choice. I wonder if they could structer a deal where he gets less money the first two years (because of the Lovie deal) and then back load the deal. Pure hypothetical here: Mike Shanahan wants $6-7 million a year. He signs a 5 year deal. Years 1 and 2 earn him $1.5 million per, while years 3-5 earn him $10.67 million per. Yes, crazy numbers on the back end, but still averages out to $7 million a year over 5 years.

Starting to think we start over, Angelo on down
Lovie and Angelo both need to go... but they wont. THey have stupid money coming their way the next few years and there is NO way the organization fires Lovie and continues to pay him 10 million over the next few years AND brings in a big name expensive coach like Bill Cowher, Mike Holmgren, or Mike Shanahan. Angelo needs to go, but he's here through 2011 I think... if not longer. The problem was they got ridiculous contracts after that fluke of a Super Bowl season where we basically got there by pure luck.

Michael Vick in Chicago last night!
Vick in town for Charity Event...

Michael Vick in Chicago last night!
Ok course the Bears would deny it. I bet most teams will deny... until he signs.

Michael Vick in Chicago last night!
I hate "I heard form 'a' who heard from 'b' who heard from 'c'" type reporting. So, I'd be curious to see if someone can find a source on this.

Michael Vick in Chicago last night!
If I'm Vick, I want a place where I can compete to start. Just sayin. Just to fan the flames a little, Tony Dungy (Vick's NFL reinstatement "mentor") and Lovie get alone reallll nice.
