Sure. And that player usually goes in the top 5.

Reggie Nelson. I don't get it, but okay. And I like Leftwich, but still. Miami takes Quinn in the 2nd? Kidding, but not really.

Huh? Lovie said to everyone who would listen, every week, Rex is my qb. Del Rio wavered all the time, switched qbs, has only recently said that Leftwich would be the starter next year. Not nearly the same situation.

After all the drama of last year, I really doubt that.

Who'll take Olsen? Carolina could, but there was talk that they wanted two safeties from this draft, and there'll be some good ones available there.

Just not a lb. Not enough depth there, much better value later. Jacksonville trades out. So, I'm an idiot. I'm shocked. They don't have a qb they believe in and they skip over Quinn.

Ginn didn't surprise you?

Baltimore's basically a "best player available" type of team. I could see that. Although, Boller looked much better when he got in last season.

Yes, Jacksonville takes him, definitely. I can really see him going to GB, though. You don't want to hold an heir apparent for 4 years. And swinging Rodgers for something.

If he's there, yes. Definitely.

Random idea -- Quinn to the Packers, and the Rodgers-for-Moss swap goes through -- ??? Edit: n/m, totally forgot they just picked Russell. That roughly reflects how much I care about the Raiders.

^^^^^ Both. My own preference, just combine them. Seems kind of silly to switch threads just for one pick every 2-3 hours.

Bears looking to get the 6th overall pick..
It's on again. I guess. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...7042602711.html Funniest quote from the article? Yeah.... It might have been a lot easier if you had shut up the first time around.

Bucs inquire about Briggs
Exactly. Just like using the franchise tag, it'll never happen. I don't know why anyone would think he'd make a big trade now, just because it makes good sense.

Bucs inquire about Briggs
Pure guess -- they're trying to lower the trade-up price by showing they're willing to do other things. Second pure guess -- it won't work.

Johnson, Okobi, Adams admit to smoking pot.
It's not a concern, noone'll pass on them, because noone really cares about pot. If it weren't for pr, I doubt they'd even test for it.

How long will Tank be suspended?
"the same situation"? Jamal helped arrange a drug deal. Tank popped off a couple unauthorized guns in his backyard. C'mon...

Grossman may ride shotgun
I'd say about half of Chicago got really excited with that headline in the Trib, thinking he'd now become the backup qb. Can't hurt mixing in some shotgun. Just a little more variety.

Bears looking to get the 6th overall pick..
Okay, gotcha. These draft trades are just so bizarre. Nobody wants to be shortchanged (at least by much) in the draft value chart sense, even though everyone knows the chart has massive flaws. I'm tired of even thinking about it.
