You're right, I just don't get how we aren't running all over defenses. Run plays up the gut with 16 guys clogging the middle of the field? It doesn't make any sense!

Per the Tribune, he dislocated his wrist and will have surgery Monday. He's expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

False. Frank Omiyale sucked. Overall, the O-Line was pretty damn good against the new 3-4 they didn't have much film on.

To be fair, people are really overreacting on Vasher. He hosed up 1 play and it cost us more than any other, but overall, he played a pretty decent game and held Jennings in check. And he actually is one of the few DB's who made tackles.

Frank Omiyale is the worst offensive linemen in the NFL. That was literally the worst I've ever seen a single OL play in a game. He didn't do one thing good all game.

FWIW, I'm pretty certain that when Ogun hit Orton's hand, it brought it back to his helmet and that's where he actually got the gash. I'm guessing it happened on the wielded part of the bars or the corner of the logo or something.

This is stupid. Burress shoots himself and gets 2 years. Stallworth gets less than a month for DUI and killing someone. The US Legal system working it's magic.

Not really buying this yet. Some reports say the Bucs are not interested in Burress but other say he has reached out to them and wouldn't mind playing for them. Just because he wants to play somewhere doesn't mean that the team wants him too. Apparently he reached out to RB Derrick Ward, who played with Burress in NY.
The Bucs have reportedly been interested in signing former New York Giants free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress, but Morris downplayed the team's interest in signing Burress, who currently has some legal issues that could prevent him from playing football in 2009.“He’s a great player, any time you have a chance to add a great player to your team you have to have some sort of interest," said Morris. "But again, we’re talking about a ghost. Right now, we don’t know what’s going on with his legal problems. We don’t know what is going on with his suspension by the league. Until that stuff resolves, it’s not even worth talking about in my opinion.
“To be honest there was never really a discussion about bringing him in. He has close friends on our team and contacted those guys and said he’s interested himself. There is nothing wrong with that.”

Well, the only flaw in your thinking is that in Denver, Cutler also had Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal for one year, a great OL, and an offensive guru in Shanny as his HC.
We scored 23.4 PPG last yr with no receivers and Kyle Orton.
