I would throw up if the Bears sign MVS.  This guy couldn't find success with ARodgers throwing to him.  If he is still a free agent now, it is not because he is demanding to much money. It is because he is not very good.

I would put a feeler out on WR Will Fuller. He would be a great fit for Fields.  He will cost at least 10-12 million, but is capable of putting up monster numbers and would be paid much more if he could stay healthy.

I forgot Fuller was still out there. Good call, he's better than MVS.

He's expected to learn and grow this year.  With a stronger OL and solid running game Fields should make what he has better.  The draft will yield us talent for the future.  Please don't think we are going to be good this year.  Poles is is truly going to use the three year plan.  Rebuild, excite then dominate!

I don't think they're going to be good, but I did think that they'd spend most of their available cap on offense to try to support Fields. That hasn't happened, and their one major signing was on defense, before Ogunjobi failed his physical.

That makes no sense. If they get MVS and Fisher I'd feel a lot better.

  3. I'm beyond shocked that they didn't sign a major WR. MVS is rumored to be visiting the Chiefs, and he's the last guy with starting capability out there. Furthermore, the Packers and Chiefs just traded their star WRs and have 2 late 1sts in the 20s. There may be nobody left worth picking at 39 as a WR. Fields has little help on the OL and at WR right now. How can anyone expect him to do well?

I know they will still get a couple more FAs on the Oline. If they bring in a Armstead or Fisher, then they will get a developmental OT to replace in a few yrs. I do expect Poles to get an extra couple picks . I don't think he knows if both Jenkins and Boom are the answer so will have competition.  If he doesn't get a LT upgrade then he will have to in the 2nd  round OT that can compete as a rookie. I'm calling Fisher comes here and they get Bates the RFA from Buffalo.

Fisher can stay on the field aside from the one year that he got injured, so him.

I've heard rumors that Poles is not a fan of Borom.

I look for Seattle to parlay those picks to get Watson.

Watson is going nowhere unless he is cleared of the allegations against him. If not, I doubt he ever plays another down in the NFL.

With the movement today, Poles has to consider going to get DK. He wants freak athletes, well, that's the biggest freak in the NFL. DK, Mooney, Watson in the draft, and that's a solid group for Justin to work with.

DK will cost a 1st rounder that the Bears don't have nor can afford to trade.

Several top names are going to be tagged and resigning to existing team. Williams, Gallup, Adams, Godwin will not be available. Christian Kirk and D J  Shark will be more expensive. Add Cooper to a big pay check. When Poles talked about 2nd and 3rd wave players, those will  will be all that are left. He just needs to grab a Kalif Raymond and Byron Pringle and be done with it.

Mike Williams just re-signed with the Chargers.

I'm not sure if the Cowboys are going to outright release Cooper anymore. They might be able to trade him at his current deal.
