It's semantics... It all depends what we'd give up for it. I still would find Mendenhall a steal at that slot. But, in all honesty, it ain't happening, so it's much ado about nothing.

Agreed. But given the lack of anything real to discuss that we already haven't discussed ad infinitum, it's something! I factored in a few of those surprises in my analysis...like Atlanta, Saints and Titans. It's all a crap shoot until at least about 4-5 games play out. When other fans see us, they will think it's a win. Atlanta or not. Let's not forget the hapless Dolphins beating the juggernaught Pats just 2 seasons ago. Granted, it was a divisional game, but still...on any given Sunday.

1. I have no problem with Williams, but since Mendenhall was available, I think it's a bad move. It's a reach. 2. I'm just not sold on Jones... I too would rather chance it on Johnson, or grab Flacco here. 3A. Totally agreed! If Booty, why not Josh? Seems the bigger upside. But even more so, if we went OL w/ #1, then I'd shoot for Forte. A slight reach, but not really. 3B. Hawkins...fine by me. Seems as good as any. 4. I've heard a bit more that Soa's more versitile...and we could use that. 5. I'd rather take Butler or Z here... 6. Good, but I like Dizon. 7. Sure...why not.
