I think you're right. The Bears seem to be offering fair market price for the players they want to keep. I'm hoping this is just the dance...and that it'll all work out when a push comes to shove.

Need I state that this is for fun? I think a vast majority doing this are trying to do what they think will happen or what they feel should happen. I think you're upping the "drama" quotient rather high calling it the worst move in draft history. Something tells me that there have been far morse... I presonally participated because I thought it would be fun. I'm taking my picks seriously, and was hoping to see how the ebb and flow would be. But I'm not putting any more or less stock into this than any other mock draft there. I'm having fun with it, I think other are too. I'm sorry that you are not.

I do see your point, but once I saw that trades were allowed, I knew it would have the potential to get silly... No one can really guess if and when it will happen...and that alone skews everything.

That's what I fear...that we reach for an OT and miss out on mendenhall... But I also think Mendenhall will be gone by 14...

Regardless of how we don't get Mendnehall (as I feel we will be long gone before we pick...), there does seem to be some quailty out there. I'm not well versed on enough of those guys other than Jones and Stewart. I'm a bit weary of Jones... I like Stewart despite the injury. I really don't know enough about the other guys to really have an educated opinion. Their highlights look good for sure. And I do tend to agree that having a total speedster would be nice. Do you know if Johnson can handle an NFL beating?

But all kidding aside...this guy just continues to piss me off even after he's supposedly gone... I say come back...and let our D lay the pain on his old butt again...

Adibear, I won't argue your Davis-Waddle tandem! I loved those guys! I think the WR slots are the most open of all for discussion! I loved THornton! He was a beast! But, maybe our man Olsen may end up surpassing him! But, it's too early to tell. I also love Butler, but I'm siding with Robbie for now hoping he'll even break But-head's record in the future! Ha! I wish we were related! But, my dad did hang out with another Lithuanian, Butkus, on one occassion in college... that's as close as I've got!
