  1. I coached Iggy in middle school. Definitely looks like we were after a special teams ace. Really good kid. Hope he makes an impact.
  2. Memphis? What are you smoking? It's the Nashville Predators. The two cities are a long ways from one another, lol.

He is 30 but hasn't been a starter the last couple years so the wear and tear shouldn't be as great as the other options out there. No injury history like Westbrook or Tomlinson. We've played him 2 times a year for last several years so you would hope we have a good idea of what he will bring. Contract is structured in such a way if won't affect us from resigning Forte if he has a good year this year. Sounds good to me.
  4. Biggs disagrees. Doesn't believe Olsen will be moved. Here is a tweet he sent on subject. "Would be surprised if anything happens to Greg Olsen. Doubt he is traded. RT @jermaine611 @BradBiggs brad is greg olsen gone?"

As much as 40 million in first 3 years according to Brad Biggs.
  6. @Adam_Schefter: Taylor reaches agreement w/Bears on a 4-year, $12.5 million deal that includes $7 million gtd in year 1
  7. Former Bears player Terry Obee from the `93 team attended our church today. He's the new WR coach at Western Kentucky University which is in the city I live. The name sounded familiar but I didn't really remember him until we got to talking and I told him I was a Bears fan. He was at Stanford last year with Harbaugh his former QB. He came to WKU with Willie Taggert when he got the head coaching job here. Always nice to meet a former Bear.
  8. One of the best sports week of my life. Kentucky Wildcats get Calipari and recruits and we finally have a real franchise QB on the Bears roster. Somebody pinch me.
  9. Is that Orton or Grossman?
  10. Poor Hester. He just can't get it going.
  11. Our pass game has pulled a Casper.
  12. Well, we officially suck.
  13. We are in self destruct mode. We need a 3 and out badly.
  14. I'm gonna go shoot myself now.
  15. Seriously? We gotta take that play out of the playbook. It's never gonna work.
  16. And Maynard is done. Choke master last several games.
  17. This entire staff is full of idiots.
  18. The corner fade is so much harder to complete than the slant. Why don't we take the slant away and force them to make the tougher play. I don't understand. Especially in the red zone..
  19. Too easy. We are gonna get dominated if we can't defend the slant. What is the deal?
  20. Don't know what to say. I'm sick. We absolutely could have won this game. We gotta find a pass defense and a backup QB. I'm serious, I'd just go ahead and cut Grossman.
  21. Like I said, he's garbage. Forte and Olsen wide open.
  22. Anything to keep Forte from getting a TD.
  23. Any FA QB's available? Cut Grossman tomorrow. Sign a FA to backup Hanie till Orton gets back. Can't be any worse than the mess of an offense we've seen today.
  24. Hester didn't even try to avoid Bironas.
  25. Their defense isn't the major reason. There have been plays to be made in the passing game and Grossman just can't hit the receivers. It's unbelievable.
