  1. I'm done predicting what players or what position the Bears are gonna for come draft day. I haven't even come close the last 5 years or so. Angelo and his people get the benefit of the doubt as far as I'm concerned. The last few drafts have been outstanding.
  2. Unless they can find somebody beyond a shadow of a doubt better (Griese and Garcia are not better) Rex is the guy. You would think the way people hate on Rex that he was the first QB not to have an MVP season his first full year. There's no way in hell Rex doesn't come back a stronger, more complete player next year. Think about all the shit he had to go through, the shit he had to endure. He's gained so much knowledge and experience that he simply didn't have this past year. He'll be much, much better in 2007.
  3. Man, I have nightmares of Chris Harris in pass coverage. They're scary, too. I like Manning. Although he made a lot of mistakes the second-half of the season and playoffs. But I see some real talent there. Harris? Off with his head.
  4. Um, safety? Even if Mike Brown is back, counting on him to play a full season is the same as Cubs fans counting on Prior or Wood to pitch a full season. Chris Harris is a bum and makes me sick. If he's our starting safety, or the guy we have to rely on if Brown gets hurt again, I'll be vey pissed. I think we need to look at WR as well. Moose is getting up there and Bradley, who I think has a chance to be a stud, can't stay healthy. I'll say this much, whatever direction Angelo and the Bears decide to go in, I'll go along with it. They get the benefit of the doubt after what guys like Mark Anderson and Devin Hester did this past year.
  5. I thought the only guys that played well on defense were Briggs, Vasher and Tillman. Everybody else stunk. You can say whatever you want, but the tackling was just pathetic. It was like we had 11 Deion Sanders' out there.
  6. And they had no part in being on the field that long? Like I said, I realize Rex and the offense blew. But I'm not about to give the defense a free pass. No way.
  7. Rex sucked. The defense sucked. Period. I don't want to hear the "Well, they were on the field too long" garbage. The tackling was brutal. They made Rhodes look like LT. They couldn't generate any kind of pass rush. They couldn't stop the Colts on third down. Rivera was terrible. He made no adjustments at all. No blitzes. Nothing. It was pathetic.
  8. No one player makes THAT big a difference on defense. Especially a safety. Of course Colts fans are gonna hype him up. Honestly, I can't explain how the Colts defense went from utter garbage during the regular season to what we saw in the playoffs. It's more mind-boggling than trying to figure out how the 83 win Cardinals won the world series.
  9. Brown, and it's not even close. Bob Sanders has become the most overrated defensive player in football.
  10. Who thinks that? He had one big run. That was it. We got finger-hosed all night.
  11. Not saying I agree with him, but our schedule is MUCH, MUCH tougher next year than the crap we got to play against this year.
  12. Pathetic! Disgusting! Gutless! Heartless! Deplorable! Despicable!
  13. Rex has earned himself atleast another 3 years at QB for just getting us this far.
