You make it sound like the only routes this guy runs are fly patterns and fades. He gets open and our WRs don't. Our WRs have speed but can't get open. Our guys get jammed up at the line which screws up the timing and that's what Martz' O is based on. It's based on timing and spots. If they get jammed up the can't get to there spot when they're supposed to. If the receivers get jammed up, that makes it more difficult for Cutler who doesn't have enough time as it is. So yes, I am listening to myself when I say he can show our guys a litlle something. You like this amazing offensive display that we have been treated to this season? To me that move makes perfect sense.

I'm not saying sign the guy to a 4 year contract or even a 2 or 3 year contract. We need WR help bottom line. We have almost ruined Hester as a WR and maybe he can learn something from Moss. Maybe Knox can learn how to run the route as drawn up and not cut them off. Maybe he can show Aromashadu get open while Cutler is running for his life. SInce Moss is such the same receiver, maybe he can teach the kids we have now so next year we won't have such a problem at the WR position. When all is said and done, all we would have to bitch about is the O-Line which yes IS A BIGGER PROBLEM. (CAPS intended Jason). But for the love of God, we have a problem that can be addressed and albeit not the perfect solution or permanant one...it is one. What do we have now? WR's who need to learn and a potential addition who can teach cause it's his style.

Ok call common sense that Moss can't fill 2 needs on our offense, but in reading all the posts and watching the games, we NEED a WR and O-Line. If I'm not mistaken Moss is still a good WR and better than anything Angelo has put together. Yes we need a Line and if there was a viable solution, I would like to think the front office would make a move, just as I would think they would make a play to better our WR core with adding Moss.

Yes Moss is bad news, but we still need a receiver. Yes we need O-Line but we NEED a receiver. I'm not saying we're gonna get the second coming if we sign Moss, but what do you think NE expected when they got him from Oakland after lackluster years? I say it can't hurt because he'll still draw double coverage and that will open up our other receivers. That might open up the running game as well because the pass threat would make teams put in an extra DB...now if only Martz would call a run and do 3-5 step drops on pass plays.

I agree...if the Bears start slow against Buffalo, Lovie should be escorted off the sidelines by half time. He just makes me sick. However..."Lovie is our coach"...what a jackass..

Do you think the Bears would sign him? Do you want him? After all, he is a number one WR that we need. Just throwing that out there.....

I think Rivera, Frazier, and definately Cowher would be great additions. With that said, since Singletary should be unemployed at season's end, he could be the D-Coordinator. He has a grasp on the defensive aspect. Rivera, as stated earlier in the thread, has paid his dues and his time has come. We need to make a splash in free agency with a top O-line and WR FA. Martz needs to go before Cutler gets killed. We really can't blame Tice for the O-line's problems for the simple fact no matter how much you polish a turd, it will forever be a turd. --BearsFan1974

I am in the Air Force and stationed overseas. AFN, the broadcasting network for the Armed Forces, has a Viewer's Choice where we pick the game seen overseas. For the last 3 weeks, Bears' fans stationed overseas have been stuck watching the Saints against the Bucs and Browns. Right now the Saints are winning again and I can't take it!!! What I ask of my fellow Bears' fans is go to AFN Fan's Choice and vote for the Bears vs Bills. This would allow all the Bears' fans serving our country to watch them.
