AND THATS A BEARS WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a reminder to those who may have been to young to witness 1985. These were plenty of games like this...where Jim McMahon played poorly, the Bears were down in the second half and the defense pulled it out(heck Game 1 against TB was awful) So if anybody tells you this team is not that good because of how the offense played on Monday, remind them EVERY championship team has games like this. We are still the best in the NFL.

Lance Briggs
If a new contract can't be reached, I think the chances of him being "franchised" would be at 90%. We don't want another Wilbur Marshall situation.

With the Cardinals O-line...Their training room should have a revolving door installed.

The Introduction Thread
Ribbie here. Most of you know me from Soxtalk, but I am a huge bears fan as well. I bit of my history with the Bears. My Dad has been a season ticket holder since the mid-70s. I grew up going to Bears games with my Dad, my brother and Uncle. I'd attend 4 games games a year during my childhood, good and bad weather. I loved the games in December...wrapping plastic wrap around my socks to keep in the heat. When I turned 21, I got to join the manly trek to Green Bay every year with my family to watch the Bears. Unfortunatley I turned 21 during the Farve era... My fondest memory was seeing both playoff games at Soldier Field during the 85 season!! My favorite all-time Bears player is Dan Hampton. It's the only Bears jersey I own. Thats about it... GO BEARS

I remember a poster back in Feburary on Soxtalk who insisted that Rex should retire from football. He had all these "inside sources" who were telling him Rex would never come back from those injuries, etc. His friends were amazed as to how right he is all the time...LOL. I love those guys.

Mark Anderson, 5th round pick, 1st round job
He was passed on by so many teams because they weren't sure were to use him. Should he be a DE or a OLB? This indecision led many to pass. The Bears? They knew exactly where they wanted him and snatched him up. Thats what a good coaching and scouting staff, who are all on the same page, could do for a team. Jerry Angelo may whiff a few times in the first round, but he has been a Master in the late rounds!!!
