  1. I just refuse to believe a broken thumb is going to cost him the season. That seems extremely excessive. I think all these reporters are just trying to seek attention when nothing has officially been reported yet by the Bears. If Cutler is out for the year, our season is over.
  2. That's bull shit reporting on Jensen. He played in the damn game after the apparent injury. He's going to play and he will be fine.. All that guy does is seek attention. It also should be worth mentioning that Ben Roethlisberger has played with a broken thumb on his throwing hand and it hasn't affected his play at all this season.
  3. Not a fumble. Dumb challenge by Chargers but if we can get one more first down, the game is ours.
  4. What a freakin horse shit penalty called by these officials. Really? You're going to call that?!
  5. Our defense is so bad against this offense. Letting Jackson get a free release to run up and down the field all night long, and then our line can't get any sacks on Rivers despite them having 4 new offensive lineman.
  6. Wow unbelievable catch by Knox. Just what the doctor ordered! Now get another turnover!
  7. God forbid the officials throw yet another Ghost penalty on us during a return.
  8. Okay, how about changing something up on defense? Nobody is covering their best receiever and he is tearing us apart.
  9. Terrible defensive performance so far in this game. Every pass play the Chargers complete is going for 30+!
  10. Here comes the queer ass " Completion of the catch" rule.. This won't be a touchdown.
  11. God damn Tillman is getting torched by Vincent Jackson already..
  12. Too many runs. Need to see some screens and play action fakes to generate some more offense.
  13. Nice to see our great group of receivers drop another 41 yard bomb thrown by Cutler.
  14. We played them a few years back on opening day back I think in 2007 and lost. Obviously its two different teams now. This is your typical trap game, and I'm a little worried about how our offense is going to play against the 3-4 scheme and now down two offensive lineman. We need a big performance from Edwin Williams, and we need another receiver not named Earl Bennett to step up. Rivers should help us out, maybe more than once by throwing a few up for grabs. It's up to our defense to make them pay for it.
  15. This is the exact reason I hate even taking the time responding to your posts. Right, because this is the exact same offensive line from 8 weeks ago and they haven't made any kind of adjustments at all. Not one... See, this to me is what someone with a close minded perspective would say. To take something completely believable and logical and twist it into some false reality. Contrary to whatever you are trying to make yourself believe, roll outs do indeed help buy extra time for a quarterback, and no this offensive line is not bad enough to render such playcalls obsolete. I don't think I can ever recall one time where Cutler has been sacked when he's had a play designed to get him outside of the pocket. You are so hung up on this "Short route" crap when we've probably ran as many intermediate to deep routes as any team in the NFL this year and have still had some success. But how dare we with this offensive line, right?! I don't know how exactly this applies to anything since most of us could make the observation that losing two starters is probably not a good thing for an offensive line. What else is new?
  16. I just wonder if the Bears will go after him or not. I imagine he'll be the #1 free agent for next season, so it's not going to be easy. Although selling him on getting a chance to pair up with Julius Peppers should be an easy enough strategy to entice him to come over here. With Forte more than likely getting franchised next year, we should still have enough money to pursue one big name, especially with the left over money we didn't spend this past offseason.
  17. I'm a little bit worried about our offense against the Chargers defense. They will get after the quarterback and I'm not so sure how Edwin Williams is going to play against pressure from a 3-4 team. Also, there offense moves the ball alot. Our defense will allow a team to rack up yards if you are accurate with the football. I don't want this to be Philip Rivers breakout game.
  18. http://www.foxsportshouston.com/11/18/11/F...amp;feedID=3714 How wicked would a Peppers/Mario Williams d line look in Chicago? I forgot he was even a free agent. It doesn't look like the Texans are going to be able to franchise him, so the possibility of him leaving becomes significantly greater. Obviously the Bears have some of their own issues, as far as long term contracts are concerned, and I'm not sure what there money situation looks like for next season, but that would be quite a splash to sign this guy.
  19. It's just weird. After the initial injury, everyone was saying it was a 2-4 weeks injury possibly 6 weeks. Then all of a sudden something goes wrong and he's out for the season.
  20. Suddenly I'm not really feeling that confident in Sundays game. Not sure how the line will hold up missing one of their guys, and I'm not sure how Corey Graham is going to do in place of DJ Moore. This could be your typical trap game that the Bears always seem to fall in to atleast once or twice a season.
  21. Never trust Jerry Angelo drafting an offensive lineman in the first round ever again. And what the hell is with the injury? He's missing the entire season because of a partial dislocation?
  22. Sure, but they haven't played below average football since Week 5 at Detroit. Since then its been quite a bit better and the important thing is that its happening NOW. I say this with kindness and Im not trying to be an ass, but I don't really care nor do I base any of my opinions off of someone else opinionated grades . Come on now. Okay? So what? Why are you using a fan's opinion like it's circumstantial evidence? I could make up a few grades right now if you'd like me to. Would you take those numbers as factual information as well? But upgrading at OL still doesn't mean our receivers are suddenly going to start learning how to catch balls. It's still not going to change the fact that none of them have the ability to adjust on the fly to a ball that's not thrown perfectly, like the Larry Fitzgerald's or the Calvin Johnson's of the world. All it would do is give the receivers more opportunities to get open, which helps but it still doesn't discount their deficiencies as a group. Yeah, they've done it so much that Devin Hester and Johnny Knox have a combined 1 total touchdown of a play greater than 30 yards. Fast doesn't necessarily = down the field play maker. Somewhat. In reality, there aren't many teams that routinely give you the 7 step drop anymore, because this league has become a shotgun oriented league with the spread it out, air it out type of offense. Or its the West coast style. Martz has called a smarter game by limiting these plays to a smaller degree, and that will help any offensive line. Why ruin a good thing if it's working? Just because you aren't running plays where you drop the quarterback back 7 steps doesn't mean you can't throw down the field. There are ways around it and it's why you design roll outs to get the quarterback out of the pocket a bit. You can go more shotgun, throw in a few screens here and there to keep the defense off balanced, all the while mixing in a few 7 step drops every now and then. As long as Martz doesn't abuse it, it will work.
  23. Without looking at who's playing well for the other teams, Garza's name should be getting some major consideration as a pro bowl center.
  24. Yep, according to this we are 4th worst with 20. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/tmleade...FL&rank=232
