Why isn't Caleb Hanie in the game? He's a better quarterback than the old man that's in there now.

Kyle Orton also has the best offensive line in football, keep that in mind. With that said he's still a pretty solid quarterback.

Well were going to be forced to run the ball now. Collins isn't going to throw the ball 20 times this half. Might not throw it 10. So with a concussion you can't come back in the game right? Not that it would be smart to bring him out here, just wondering.

Forte is so bad at running the ball, he doesn't even know how to find a hole. Did you see that cutback? lol wtf was that?!

The Bears should elect to punt on first down. They'll get more yards out of it than their offense. Maybe they'll eventually wind up close enough to kick a fieldgoal.

I'm embarrassed to be watching this team. Martz, like Turner, fails to adjust during the game and Cutler has given up because he knows somebody is going to miss a block ever time he snaps the football. This is god awful. I don't think I can remember seeing a worse performance in a half so far in a Bears game than today. Might have to go back to the days of Johnathon Quinn and Craig Krenzel.

EARTH TO MIKE MARTZ!!! Stop sending receivers on 20 yard routes that take more than 3 seconds to develop! Is it not obvious to you by now that those plays haven't a chance in hell? How bout throwing some screens and short routes to shake the pressure since we have the worst offfensive line in football and we have a quarterback that aparently wants to hold on to the ball forever.

I have never seen a worse offensive line in the history of football. This is seriously really pissing me off how freakin terrible we are at pass/run blocking.

Talk about a pathetic start. Idk what the hell is wrong with Cutler but that throw was moronic. How did he not see the DB standing right at the spot where he was throwing the ball?

I won't believe we are the best either until I see dramatic improvement from our offensive line and running game. Things are good now but I'm cautiously optomistic when ranking us atop the NFC. No team can win the Superbowl without atleast some semblance of a running game and so far we haven't even tried running the ball and when we do we get next to nothing. Someone has to step up. We need a dominating performance in the next few weeks before I can really say this team has a legit shot at a Superbowl.

Bears win 27-14. Cutler starts to pick apart the Giants after throwing an early pick in the 1st half. The Bears defense is the biggest winner in this game I think because we will make Eli Manning's night a living hell with our blitzes. I think this will be a game where you can finally say the Bears defense dominated. I think Eli throws atleast 1 pick but hopefully a couple. We'll start to pull ahead late in the game and the defense will shut it down for us. I don't know why but this was the first time I had ever heard of the 1-5-5 defense aka the "Pyscho defense". And it got me to thinking, it's a really cool defense because it has so many disguises. Why don't the Bears try to use it a few times a game? We don't really have much of a pass rush again this year and when we do, Peppers is really the only one who brings it. Why not use Peppers as the one down lineman in the 1-5-5 setup with 3 or 4 LB's and 1 nickel back to go along with our other defensive backs? Our LB's are good enough in coverage to run it and we could bring some serious pressure as well. I just think it's such an interesting defense and I was thinking of how boring our scheme is, why not spice it up a little bit? Too bad we don't have another Martz on defense to do it because I don't trust Mareneli or Lovie to come up with anything.

Yeah I noticed that too. I was surprised that we didn't go to more slants and short passing routes to fend off the Packers blitzes but Martz stood pat with the long routes and actually for parts of the game the offensive line did a good job picking up the blitz and allowed Cutler time to throw. We still need to run alot more screens every game to keep the other teams pass rush in check. We got the Giants next week and we all know they can bring it just as well as the Cowboys and Packers except most of their pressure comes from there front 4. That makes for a great screen setup and I hope Martz can exploit it. And it's about time Devin Aromashodu gets back in the starting lineup. I keep hearing he's having a hard time learning how to be a slot receiver. WTF? He's NOT a slot receiver. Surely Martz can't be that stupid. He's not built to be a slot receiver, he's an outside guy. Hester is the slot man. We are missing that big target as a receiver and I think Cutler needs him, especially in goaline situations and also on 3rd and shorts.
