Lovie is said to be the leading candidate for the Tampa job. I doubt Sheridan sticks around and "plays 2nd fiddle" to Lovies D. Gimme him if they wanna stick with a 4-3 or Phillips if they wanna move to 3-4.
  2. I'm not seeing the "He had a step" part.

With Shiano getting the axe in Tampa I wonder if that whole staff is out...If so I'd add Bill Sheridan to the DC wish list. From his profile on the Bucs website... "In his first season as the Buccaneers defensive coordinator, Sheridan helped turn around the team’s run defense. After finishing last in the league in run defense in 2011, the 2012 Buccaneers finished first in that category, becoming the first team since the merger to go from last-to-first in a single season." Sounds like a guy the Bears could use.
  4. “Jay will be back. Jay will be back. So all these stories for the offseason, you guys can put that at the bottom,” Marshall said. He reiterates those statements on the Sports Sunday post game show. Don't know if it's just a "buddy statement" or if he knows this as a fact. Both the locker room quote and the post game show quote sounded pretty confident.
  5. Looks so weird seeing Wright as the top tackler on this team. Really don't know what to think about the guy.
  6. They must have been playing nickel all day. I know Bostic has been bad, but I can't imagine he didn't make a single tackle all day. Frey had 6 tackles, 3rd most in the game.
  7. Orton didn't have to battle out of a hole where the D didn't have to defend the run. Every game is different, lets not start calling Orton better than Cutler. That drive in the 4th has an asterisk by it because that ball to Alshon should ave been caught....even bears4ever, who has been critical of Jay, called it a great throw in the game thread.
  8. FWIW Jays QBR was better than McCowns against the Pack, and that included the hail mary INT. I thought Jay was fine, he put the Bears in position to win multiple times and the D(Conte x2, don't forget the pass to Quarles that should have at least been tipped) just coughed it up time and again.
  9. Jarius Byrd or TJ Ward would be real nice.

15 I believe.....and 16 if Dallas loses. Edir- oops you're right, they beat Pittsburgh. so 15 if Dallas loses.
  11. At this point, "should" shouldn't even be the word used here. If he's not gone I give up.
  12. Can't really put that on Cutler though. Alshon shoulda caught that ball. Shields didn't touch him after that balls hit him in the hands.
  13. Is this real life?
  14. Aww man that's a ball Alshon usually catches.
  15. Are both Bennetts out??? (Yes I'm just now asking this) Hey hey, a Wilson sighting!
  16. Right when the D was looking good....
  17. YeAAA Buddy!
  18. Why they dont need to draft a burner in the draft! Alshon is a monster deep threat!
  19. Didn't need to...Establish the run and it opens up things for the passing game, good game plan out of the half.
  20. Thought Hester called for a fair catch there, but Ill take it!
  21. WElp that pretty much sums up the 2013 Bears defense.
  22. lol no way.
  23. Doesn't Rodgers know they have more that 1 WR???!!! =p Oh and ya, total BS on that late hit call. The Aaron Rodgers protection agency is out there wearing stripes.
