Source confirms #Bears hiring of Vic Fangio. Source also said that Joe DeCamillis and Mel Tucker were told they were out from get go.

Does that leave anyone from the old staff still being evaluated?

Our Dline coach and our DB coach, Hoke. I had read something yesterday about Bears hiring an assistant DB coach from Denver but never saw another report about it (so not sure if it was ever confirmed). Al Groh, our WR coach is also not on that list. Hoke / Groh and the Dline coach were probably the 3 guys I would have said I'd have no problem being around.

Note: There are other guys I'm sure that aren't on that list, whether assistants or RB coaches, etc.

Hopefully the police gave Tucker a ticket on his way out of the parking lot.

Fangio worked with Bears DBs coach Jon Hoke in Houston. Hoke will be part of his third Bears regime if he survives, and he should IMO.

I wonder if Matt Cavanaugh will keep his job, or even be in the running for OC.

With Tucker's departure, we just won 2 more games next year.

Unless we get pre San Fran Fangio who's D's were consistently Mel Tucker-esque.

In other coaching moves, sources also said that strength coach Mike Clark will not be returning for the #Bears.
