March 9, 201511 yr comment_145310 The spokesman for the league Greg Aiello released a statement condenming the flood of media leaks about signings and has threatened to investigate thses leaks. Really! Your league is over taking 2 leagues currently in season and one in preseason for buzz with March Madness on the horizon and you're going to investigate what? This was nothing more than rhetoric. Report

March 9, 201511 yr comment_145388 I don't understand why nfl.com is making news posts about the free agents and their "insiders" are giving some of the scoops if they don't condone these actions. Talk about being hypocritical. Report

This was nothing more than rhetoric. Three things are interesting: 1) Since the league released that statement, have their been any more leaks? They seemed to be coming regularly. Now they've stopped. 2) It is interesting where the leaks are coming from. The McPhee signing was reported by a Baltimore journalist. I suspect the news on Suh came from Detroit. The NFL knows these deals are being done but have chosen to ignore it as long as they are not reported. It's the losers who are doing the reporting. 3) I'll bet this won't be a problem next year. Like the poison pill contracts, the NFL will either embrace this or make it go away. Report
