Hicks Defensive MVP

Featured Replies

Between all the injuries (Goldman), suspensions (Freeman), he had little competition for this award but he is still well deserving of it. In fact even moreso because he was often the main threat for an offense to stop and he still produced. We need to use some of our cap space to sign him long term this offseason.

Hicks is signed thru 2017, but it would be a nice to lock him up now before he plays himself into a bigger contract.

I thought Trevathan was going to be the biggest help, but Hicks was clearly the best defensive player.

Thought I read somewhere that he was one of the best FA signings this past offseason in terms of value and production. 71 tackles from a d-lineman is awesome.
