Hits on QBs

Featured Replies

So Alex Smith and A. Rodgers think they got hit late. Get some flag football equip for these putzes. They play with guys that go all out to win, and they want some special treatment? Whine and bitch all you want,if you can't accept the risk, stay off the field.

Unfortunately the star QBs have been treated like this for a long time. If they get sneezed on the refs would throw a flag so of course when they get hit a and 1 isn't thrown the all bitch. And unfortunately we've never had a star QB so we've never gotten those types of calls

Alex Smith got hit late. If a player has to take two steps and then get down low in order to dive into the QB's knees, all after the ball is thrown, it's late. Rodgers was a smidgen late but again for a QB who is known for his escapability defenders have to stay in the play.

The one thing about these mobile QBs, is when they fake like they are going to throw, then run. Once they do that once and the defensive player gets fooled, then they are fair game after that.

I just don't like the extra steps, hits to the head or diving at the knees. Those need to be taken out of the game.
