Correct. I think I saw he was due $5.5M if he was still on the roster come tomorrow which seems odd. Usually I've heard of stuff like that on start of the new year or around that date. But not just days after the super bowl and the raiders were able to release him with no dead money either

According to Pro Football Focus, before Amerson's injury last season he was targeted 28 times in the passing game, allowing 21 receptions for 369 yards with four touchdowns and opposing quarterbacks registered a 156.3 rating when throwing in his direction.

don't know much at all about him but here is some info:

He had an injury riddle 2017 but in 15-16 he had 42 PDs and 6 ints. that doesn't sound mediocre to me.
