October 29, 20187 yr comment_172733 What has happened to Bullard is he injured or looking like an expensive bust Report
October 29, 20187 yr comment_172739 I don't think he's expensive. I believe he's still on his rookie contract that looks like it runs out next year. (All that said, I don't expect him to last past his rookie contract.) https://overthecap.com/player/jonathan-bullard/4785/ Current Contract Year Age Base Salary (Guaranteed) Bonuses Cap Number Cap % Dead Money & Cap Savings Cut (pre-June 1) Cut (post-June 1) Trade (pre-June 1) Trade (post-June 1) Restructure Extension Prorated Roster Workout Other 2016 23 $450,000 $206,630 $0 $0 $0 $656,630 0.4% 2017 24 $599,000 $206,630 $0 $0 $0 $805,630 0.5% 2018 25 $718,000 $206,630 $0 $0 $0 $924,630 0.5% $413,260 $511,370 2019 26 $820,000 $206,630 $0 $0 $0 $1,026,630 0.5% $206,630 $820,000 Total $2,587,000 $826,520 $0 $0 $0 $3,413,520 Report
October 29, 20187 yr Author comment_172746 When I stated expensive I meant where he was drafted. I thought he was a 2nd round pick but he was drafted in the 3rd round. I expected him to win the end position opposite Hicks although it looks like we play in nickel a lot with 2 DL, 4 LB’s and 5DB’s unless I’m mistaken. That would drop his potential playing time I suppose. Report
October 30, 20187 yr comment_172748 We certainly want to see him develop into a starter but at this point it seems his career will be spent as a backup player. Report
