March 23, 20205 yr comment_179462 Wow. In many ways , he's an equal to Leonard Floyd. I don't know what happened to him last year but the two years prior, a little less on the sacks. 2017: 47 tackles, 35 solo 2 sacks 2018: 48 tackles, 37 solo 1 sacks Floyd: 2018: 47 tackles, 34 solo 4 sacks 2019: 40 tackles, 27 solo 3 sacks And a whole lot cheaper. This has to be close to a vet min deal but he's not a bad 3rd wheel considering what we lived with last year in Lynch. It let's Quinn and Mack do the real hunting when it's needed most. Now we can add one more in the draft and there are some decent OLB prospects even down into Day 3. Report
March 23, 20205 yr comment_179466 Reading around the web it appears Mingo will be a core special teams player..something we didn't get anything from Lynch so that's a plus. Report
March 23, 20205 yr Author comment_179467 We also don't have McManis back (yet), so as a core special teamer and someone to push Irving for Edge3 is great. Also, he has the skills based on his draft status, so hopefully he can find some magic playing with Mack, Quinn, Hicks, Jackson, Smith, Trevathan, Fuller, etc. Report

Mingus isn't that, but he's a good special teams player who maybe in the right scheme can be a solid depth move. Report
