September 29, 20232 yr comment_200940 Johnson’s rushing data among 52 NFL running backs with at least 15 rushing attempts and Johnson’s receiving data among 45 NFL running backs with at least 30 receiving snaps. NFL RB Rushing & Receiving Roschon Johnson PFF Rushing Grade: 78.0 (No. 12) YPC: 5.3 (No. 11) 10+-Yard Rushing Plays: 3 (T-No. 23) 10+-Yard Rushing Play %: 17.7% (No. 8 ) 1st-Down + TD %: 29.4% (No. 11) PFF Receiving Grade: 57.8 (No. 25) Target % – YPRR: 28.2% (No. 3) – 1.44 (No. 5) aDot: 0.6 (No. 14) I like when PFF actually used real stats and metrics. As you can see, Roschon is a top 12 back right now. Getsy needs to ride him, mix in Herbert and Fields, and kill teams on the ground. Report

I picked him up in FF and going with my initial prediction he takes the helm game 4. He might not be the starter but I think he gets put there soon. Once Jenkins and Davis are back, the oline will be better and the Bears can be more a power running team like was planned. Report

He is a good pickup as he will probably be featured more and more as the year goes on. Report
September 30, 20232 yr Author comment_200967 A 5'8" 188 lbs back put up 200 yards of rushing on the Broncos with 2 TDs, with 2 more TDs coming from 4 receptions for 30 yards. Mostert put up 82 yds, and their #3 back put up 66. It would almost be unfathomable to think that Roschon can't get 100 yards on like 18 carries, Herbert gets 80 on 12. Roschon is a really good blocker too. Poles found a gem there. Report

The Bears need to control the ball and wear down defenses if they want to win. Take the pressure off of Fields and maybe he can play better and get some completions going on play action. Report
October 1, 20232 yr comment_200985 I hate to do this but Johnson comparison already in the NFL is probably David Montgomery with better vision. He doesn't have the speed of the better backs in the league. Report

He doesn't have the speed of the better backs in the league. Look at the YPC, Roschon is at least a yard better. Monty had 2 yards on 8 rushes, and 21 of his rushes were 3 yards or less, but because he had 3 TDs everyone is saying how amazing he is. On any of his big runs, there were huge holes where he wasn't touched for 8 yards. Monty is good for squeezing out a half of a yard extra on a run where he was too slow to get thru the hole, thus gaining back the half yard he lost. Report
