adam
Ruben Hyppolite II, LB at 132. Who? I am so confused, this guy was a UDFA, why is Poles selecting him in the 4th round?

He is being black balled by every team. Dude straight up comes off like a pompous asshole. Throws himself a “legendary” draft party. Has average skills. Carries himself like he won the conference and Rose bowl. Focused on his media presence, sponsorship deals, and making a music video. Deion sycophants in the media brewing discord as soon as the starter doesn’t throw for 300yds and 4TDs. And then the whole “we aren’t playing for certain teams” nonsense? Pass. DABEARSDABOMB
Swinson, Neal or one of the best available guard prospects all look like good options. I think OSU center was out there too - could be a good depth move.

DABEARSDABOMB
Another trade - given this was more of a depth draft in general - I don’t mind this. Would love to pick up a future pick out of this too

Great, I wasn't finding the details on espns tracker. We got the Thuney pick back.
adam
So now they have 169 from BUF coming up, got a 6th back at 195, and still have 233 in the 7th. The 4th in 2026 is huge, middle of the round is pick 116-118 depending on 3rd round comp picks, so that trade made up for the loss in value with the BUF trades. Funny - last year the Bears traded a future 4th straight up to get the 5th they used to get Booker. Then this year they trade their 5th for a future 4th and also get a 6th round pick in this draft. Seems pretty shrewd to me.

Exactly, they basically got a 6th for free, which evens them up with the losses of the BUF trades.

The Bears had traded their own 2026 4th away for Thuney, so the Rams trade gets a 4th back.
