Some different players here than we've seen, but except for a blocking TE instead of one of the late round WRs, I would be THRILLED with these Bears picks:

I wouldn't mind those picks. Rubin is the only odd one for me.

 

I like the Rinehart pick and would even look to get his teammate Keith instead of Rubin. That would add some nice chemistry to the line with Clady, Kruetz, and Tait.

I'd rather see us go with Henne in the 2nd, then in the 3rd go with Forte, then either Caldwell or Simpson with our 2nd 3rd. Andre Woodson is awful and won't be anything more then a clipboard holder in the NFL...

Why would we draft a 3-4 NT in Rubin?

 

Besides the 1st rounder, that would be a pretty terrible draft... Johnson and Caldwell are decent picks, but other then that, McShay is still an idiot.

 

EDIT: and Chad Rinehart would be a nice steal in the 5th, even though he'll probably be gone before then.

I love how McShay and Kiper literally make dozens of mock drafts just so during the draft they can say they had every pick right.

Kiper is a douche, but he is smart and is a decent talent evaluator. McShay though is a doofus.

lol, that is hilarious. Also, I love how they can defend every pick by giving 5-6 options for every pick. Experts, lmao.

In all fairness, many of these guys often talk about how they hate to do mocks, especially early ones, but their boss' make them do it because it sells. Tell me you all would click on the link a month or two ago for a mock. These guys are told to do these mocks, and often talk out loud how stupid they think it is to do so.

 

I am not a Kiper fan, but I will admit I enjoy the Kiper/McShay back and forth. Also, as much as we all love to bash them, sorry, but there is no question they have far more contacts w/ teams and scouts, and access to film and tape.
