August 19, 200817 yr comment_44406 http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...,3254912.column Peace I hope not. I didn't think he looked too good last year and he hasn't looked good this year either. Report
August 19, 200817 yr comment_44417 You know, other than that one play where he got murdered by Tapp, Tait has actually been pretty solid if you actually bother going over the two games. It makes sense though that people will let the one gosh awful play stand out while the solid ones go unnoticed even if it is the exception and not the rule. Report
August 20, 200817 yr comment_44504 I'm not freaking out over Tait either. I didn't like how he played but he's transitioning from LT to RT (again). He'll get his footwork down and be quite a bit better than Miller was last year. Report

August 20, 200817 yr comment_44531 Agreed. We have much greater things to freak out about on the OL itself than Tait. I think that is sort of the point though. The belief was, our left side may suck, but so long as the right side is strong, we can deal w/ it. But if Tait is not as strong as expected, then the effect would be tenfold. I don't expect a Fred Miller collapse this year, but (a) fear we may have to protect Taits side more than expected and ( fear we may have to concern ourselves w/ replacing Tait sooner than expected.
