Where did you read that? The Trib and other sources have him at questionable.

Hester out for week 3.

Rotoworld:

Bears KR Devin Hester (questionable, ribs) is expected to miss Week 3 after sitting out his third consecutive practice Friday.

Hester isn't much of a receiver, but is the Bears' most dynamic offensive threat because of his ability to further field position or score on any return. Danieal Manning will likely return kicks Sunday against the Buccaneers. Marty Booker and Mark Bradley could share third receiver snaps.

That's not officially out...

So there is at least a chance he still will play. More Smithian gamesmanship! :P

Trust me he won't play with a rib injury.

If he plays, he could do more damage to it.

Let him rest for 1 week. I know we need him. :crying

That's what I've been saying- if he isn't 100%, rest him. A minor rib injury isn't one you want to aggravate as someone who uses all that shiftiness that Devin does. I'll be glad when he's 100% vs the Eagles.
