Are the Bills experiencing similar woes?

Bills' lack of inspiring leadership holding them back

Coaches often stress the importance of not getting too high or too low in response to whatever situation a team finds itself in. Dick Jauron and the Bills are doing that well … too well, in fact. In talking to sources close to the club, the lack of emotion and fiery leadership both on the coaching staff and on the roster is keeping Buffalo from escaping the doldrums of their three-game losing streak. After being praised for his calm in the pocket in a terrifically efficient start to the season, Trent Edwards' measured stoicism has reflected the offensive stagnation he has directed. Meanwhile, Donte Whitner's absence with a shoulder injury has left the defense without more than just it's most talented defensive back. “Donte's really the only guy this team can rally around,” one source said. “Without him, there's nobody on this team who will make sure you're busting your tail out there.”

Jauron never won a playoff game for the Bears. Lovie won 2. Why is this a discussion point????

Peace :dabears

The Bills are struggling to their QB, IMO. Edwards was good but he's struggling. He's only started 19 games so it's understandable.

Jauron is an awful coach. He's only had 2 seasons of over .500 in 9 years of coaching.

It's a discussion point because Jauron the Moron was a bad coach with the Bears who elicited nearly no supporting emotion from his players. He also just happened to be bad at game changes and adjustments. Not only that, but he basically lost his job because he stubbornly held onto an assistant coach who was borderline retarded.

All of those points sound quite a bit like Zombie Smith, and it's just a reminder that while Zombie Smith may have delivered the team an NFC Championship, he has been considerably worse since that season. It's also a reminder that the Bears are, IMHO, still probably searching for the right guy for the job.

All right - I can go with that.
