I think this changes come the offseason

I agree Rich one would think he's a goner after the season ends.

I suspect we will draft a RB prospect early day 2 to develop behind Forte.

I would agree. We do not want to burn him out.

Peace :dabears

Marlon Lucky from Nebraska would be a nice compliment. He is an awesome receiver and very good blocker. coming out of HS, he was one of the top RBs. he had to decide between USC and Neb. He's also a decent passer too. :)

depending on his combine, I would think he could be a 3rd or 4th rounder easily.

I'd like to go the route of the Giants, Titans or Cowboys at RB.

Try and have more than one quality running back and that's why I'd like

to see BEARS draft RB Greene out of Iowa.

He's not fast and has so so hands but he's a powerful RB ( 5 11 - 235 ). His speed and hands

will keep him from being a first round pick.

I see him right now as a mid 2nd rd pick at best. He could even possibly

go even later (3rd) depending on how does at the combine.

Greene would bring a new dimension to the BEARS backfield. He's a more powerful

runner than Forte but isn't as fast nor does he have Forte's receiving skills.

Forte and Greene would make a nice tandem in the BEARS backfield.

LOL. funny you should mention him. I have a buddy that's an Iowa fan and he just creams himself talking about him.

I can understand his excitement. Leading rusher in the country and he lead the Hawkeyes to a bowl game.

He might have saved Ferentz's job also. As Ferentz couldn't have afforded another non winning year as he's

being paid a bundle.

he also says there some very good underclassmen coming up too even if he leaves. I wouldnt be at all upset if JA took him. Give me Duke Robinson in the first and him in the 2nd or 3rd. :)
