Pat Williams OUT for remainder of regular season

at least.

Fractured shoulder blade. 2-6 weeks. This 'could' help the playoff cause.

"Sean Jensen, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings DT Pat Williams (shoulder) will miss two to six weeks with a fractured scapula, according to head coach Brad Childress. "

Too little too late. :banghead

Sweet justice. Then he can also miss the first 4 games of next yr as well.

Peace :dabears

I like this for 2 reasons:

1. It gives us hope for making the playoffs. I believe Atlanta, Minnesota, and Tampa all have to win to mathematically end our playoff chances.

2. I advanced to the 2nd round of my fantasy playoffs and I have Turner going against MIN and Chris Johnson going against PIT (and Larry Johnson against MIA). On paper at first, that looked terrible for me, but it just got a little bit better.

I'll take Atlanta on Sunday for a hundy Alex !

I hope scenario one is the case, because theres no way Atlanta and Minny are going to win next week.

I believe Atlanta will surely win now with that fatty out. The Giants are the better team but they've been struggling lately. The one good thing is they won't rest their players since they'll be fighting for a #1 seed now that Carolina is pressing them. Is that game in the Meadow lands or Minnesota?

Minny's final 2 games are in Minnesota unfortunately however, I still like Atlanta and da Giants. If we win out we will be 10-6 and we will at least have a good chance at either winning the division or the playoffs. Yes I am being optimistic.
