LT - I am going to sit this year out. WMB / Noobonauts

Its a trade of a starting QB and a startable RB for a non-startable TE (garbage) and a should-be-good RB on a garbage team (TB) who actually scores less than the startable RB coming from the other side. As it stands today - the trade probably only benefits the team losing Martin unless Martin somehow rounds into last years form.

I see the pressure coming just like everyone else...I'm just done apologizing for Cutler for the time being. Its been a little too easy to blame everyone but Cutler...but for someone who is supposed to be an upper/top tier QB....he really craps the bed on a regular basis.

Does anyone here think that if the OPI were called on the field that there would be any controversy at all? I dont think so. It was clear.

3 mil is already a high number for other returners. They have Weems for 2 more years at an average of just over 1 mil per year. Unless he would sign for something in the normal range for a returner/backup reciever, I think he's done here.

For me the hours of 9-12 on Sundays are no good. If we could go 7 or 8 am on Sunday PST that would likely work as well.

Also - are we looking for one more still? I can begin to ask people I know if they want in if that is the case.

I think the whole thing is a ruse to entertain us while upgrading the swing tackle spot. I dont think Williams was very good at guard last year, and he isnt good enough to start at tackle....but he is an upgrade over Omiyale. Ideally Webb plays to his potential because his potential is greater than Williams. If you lined up all of these guys and asked if they all played to potential you would surely have Louis Webb and Carimi manning spots. Caveat being they play to their ceilings.

Weems pocketed what looks like a $1.5M bonus. I think he's sticking. It would take a seriously eyeopening camp for any of these guys to bump him. He also signed 3 years of paper...so its not like he is the usual 1 year vet minimum guy. In fact it seems he is likely your new full time KR. Its Devin Thomas and friends on that list who will get to compete for the last spot IMO. I dont fall into the camp of needing different types of receivers. If B Marsh is a mismatch, and Floyd is a mismatch, putting them together doesnt mitigate that IMO. Being realistic...I think Knox isnt here this year and possibly becomes an injury settlement later. I dont believe Weems and Thomas are locks...I would suggest one is. To rephrase...would you have 2 Brandon Marshalls or 1 Brandon Marshall and one miscellaneous speed guy? Im guessing the former. (Im not stating Floyd is equivalent..but certainly appears to be a potent prospect)
