Bears vs Broncos game

O line looks like dogshit.....

Yes, it was pathetic. Cutler can't do anything because he has no protection and Hester is an idiot for fielding the ball inside the 10 yard line..

D-line getting a good push...adams has driven his man back a few times

O-Line is extraordinarily unimpressive against an average defensive front from the broncos at best

Orton looks decent....but he's the PERFECT qb to play against us.....dink and dunk...hasn't really tried to go downfield

First half thoughts

1. Defense looks very good

2. OLine stinks

3. Orlando Pace is playing like he is a 70 year old man

4. there will be no team that can stop our TEs

all in all, pretty good half

2 weeks in a row, 17-3 at half time. We have not allowed a TD in the last 6 quarters.

Cutler's QB Rating for the 1st half 180.1

We are having a chance to play in a loud away stadium with a 3-4 defense. Good prep for GBP.

But the thing of it is, we aren't playing against Aaron Rodgers. He's capable of alot more than Orton obviously. Our offense will be fine, hopefully our defense holds up all year long!

Best comment from booth:

"Olsen, his wife, and Cutler make a good Threesome"

I heard that and I couldn't stop laughing. Pace does look slow but lets remember that this is Elvis Dumervil that he is going against and he is just a beast. He is averaging around 9 sacks a year since he came in to the league in '06. The Oline started to look better as the game went on. Forte looks like a stud out there. No one can stop him. Forget about stopping our TE, you are going to have to hope to just contain them. Cutler isn't showing any favorites either. He is doing a great job of spreading the ball around.

LOL, you might be right.

I was using a calculator at:

Maybe they have a glich in it, ;-)

i know QB rating for college QBs goes higher than it does for NFL...maybe thats a college calculator, cuz im positive NFL doesn't go higher than 150something

My Bad, I entered the attempts and completions in reverse order, ouch, his rating was 106.1

Omg, the worst roughing the passer penalty of all time. Give me a freaking break! You can't even tackle a quarterback now?

Cutler rating is 106.1, still better then anything I seen in consecutive weeks.

Not only was Knox the other guy the bears got with Cutler, but I believe the guy he burned on that play (Alphonso Smith) was the guy Denver traded up to get by giving up our first round pick next year (that we gave them for cutler)

Denver kept the pick we traded them, but traded their's to Seattle.

Therefore, Seattle will have their pick (probably top 10) and Denver will have ours (in the 20's).

wow, that is the first time i saw Knox...pretty fast and made a nice catch over the shoulder.
