September 23, 200916 yr comment_69505 I am wondering, Does anyone know the specifics of the trade as it stands today. I know we got Cutler and the 5th rounder was Knox. Jay Cutler and Johnny Knox for Kyle Orton, Robert Ayers - LB, Richard Quinn -TE, and next year's first rounder. Denver also traded away their own first rounder next year for Alphonso Smith-CB. So their only first rounder is ours next year. Stats-wise: Ayers and Quinn have no stats, but seem to be on the roster. Smith has 6 tackles. So right now it is Cutler and Knox vs Orton. Report
September 23, 200916 yr comment_69510 Brian Cushing? Now way this guy deserves to be there considering how Chris Johnson ripped the Texans a new one. Bruce Johnson? For what? For a gimme INT from Romo? I would have caught that and returned it for a pick 6. Percy Harvin? 5 receptions and 41 yards? Next. Mark Sanchez? 14/22 163 yards, 1 TD? When a QB has stats that would be considered good for a RB or WR, then it's not a good day for the QB. Johnny Knox? 6 receptions, 70 yards, and clutch, game-tying TD? Should win. If he doesn't, it's robbery. The only competition is from Sanchez, and it's because the Jets somehow beat the Patriots (read: defense). Report
September 23, 200916 yr comment_69514 Harvin also had a TD and 14 rushing yards. Unfortunately, I believe that alot of votes will go to Mark b/c of the perception that he lead his team to victory over the mighty Pats. Furthermore, Harvin's game one stats in which he also scored a TD may cloud some voters judgment. As much as I would like to see Knox win, I believe that e will need another big week before he beats out these two big names. Voting will end w/ mark number one, Harvin two, and Knox three. Report
September 23, 200916 yr comment_69531 Fair enough! But then should he be added into the equation? No way, Gould is automatic. Report
September 23, 200916 yr comment_69532 Agreed. Shanhez will get it by virtue of who they beat and how poised he was. I credit the guy. I just like Knox better!
