No discipline, no tackling, no heart, no effort, no brains, no creativity, ...... I seriously have to ask do the Bears actually tackle in practice or is it two hand tap? That is what the defense looks to be playing. No one seems to be even attempting to wrap up, as if they don't even understand the concept. I'm no longer going to call it a defense... from here on I will refer to it as the opponent's offensive escort service where we willingly escort you to the end zone. So.... Mr Smith are you happy about where we are at now. I'll be happy when you are sent the hell away from this team. I'm sick of watching an uninspired team bring new meaning to the word suck week in and week out. The offense has looked marginally better but still.... only 7 points and we are inside 2 min left in the half. Oh and take Tommie "Dumbass" Harris with you.... how stupid is this guy? There are some bad calls and bad no calls but the Bears are doing it to them selves.. This is every bit as putrid an effort as the Bengals game. Blocked FG that should have been tackled inside the 5 and we miss 20 tackles and set them up at the 50 with 20 seconds left and rather than us eaking out a FG to end the half we will give up a FG..... 31-7..... My 6 year old son is screaming and throwing things like I usually would be, but I kind of expected this to be honest. Smith is just not a good coach and his scheme is pathetic. Time to move on. I think it's because we've moved beyond doubt and denial and are accepting this team sucks and actually think the crowd should spend the entire second half booing as loudly as they can non stop till the final whistle. The Bears are soo bad it is amusing a in a sick way. A defense who has talked big the last few years but in that stretch has been in rapid decline and has yet to back it up on the field. We must scrap this Cover 0 defense we run. The defense has no leadership at all. On the play that Tommie is loosing his head there's Alex Brown just standing there doing nothing..... how about pull your teammate away and try to get him under control..... nope let him do something stupid, draw a 15 yarded and be ejected. I don't think it is. the odds aren't good for that but I think we will see one punt but probably not till the final moments of the game when they are just trying to run clock and no longer focussed on scoring at will. Then why is it that Arizona can hold on almost every play and when Greg Olsen is raped before the ball gets there they don't call pass interference instead they get Jay Cutler for jaw jacking him. I like Orton don't get me wrong but Denver is playing out of their minds defensively. and he hasn't had much put on his shoulders.
