Whether you agree or not, I'm sure Martz perceived it as a slap in the face.

 

Slap in the face to who? It's not like the offense has been great and Martz deserves a raise.

    No one offers a coach an extension without a bump in salary. This is supposedly an offensive guru and in his mind he believes he deserved a raise.Thats the reason why he supposedly turned down the offer. Martz has a huge ego and I believe he will be gone after the season.
