The Bears have signed practice squad RB Armando Allen to their active roster. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. they also placed RB Lorenzo Booker on IR and waived LB Patrick Trahan.

I though they terminated Booker's contract? I thought it weird since he did better than Allen. IR makes more sense but why? He get hurt?

Yes he had a head injury and didnt practice all week

Somewhere out there lurks Kalil Bell and I won't be surprised to see him back on the team. At a discount of course.

That is an option...but since he didnt want to stay with a pay cut he might not want to come back to the team

Let's see: stay at home and earn $0, play for Bears and earn $700,000 and have a better chance at another contract next year. He played his hand and lost. I'm sure his agent told him someone would be interested in him. At this point I can't believe if the Bears called he'd refuse to come back.

And if the Bears offense continues to keep this up, why would you not want a piece of the action. This could be a special season (hopefully the first of many)
