December 1, 201312 yr comment_127913 Even former head of officials mike Pereira thinks we are getting screwed Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127914 ball game gents.. they're going to cal a horseshit horsecollar Refs clearly helping Minny today. Picking up penalties that would help us, throwing bogus ones that help minny.... last three weeks, we've been getting screwed at critical points in these games. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127916 unless we come up with a block season is over. We killed ourselves when we let them off the hook on 4th and long on their goal line.... Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127919 NO GOOD DAMN!!!!!!!! we actually got a favorable call that wasn't a face mask. Gotta take advantage of this. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127920 You have got to be kidding? LOL. That Vikings player should be cut tomorrow. First he drops a TD pass that winds up being a pick, and then he commits a facemask on the game winning FG. Unreal. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127923 Then Gould misses.. Figures. Why kick it on 2nd down?!?!?! Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127926 Then Gould misses.. Figures. Why kick it on 2nd down?!?!?! I agree. I hate kicking a 47 yd try and 2nd down. Just dumb Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127927 Yea especially after both the Bears and Vikings iced him. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127928 I do not understand Trestman these days. Bizarre.... You have one of the most accurate kickers in the game. Why risk a turnover. He missed, it happens. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127929 I know it's only his first year, but I'm beginning to grow tired of Trestman's decision making already. I credit him for changing the offense, but he's been pretty bad at everything else. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127930 Yea especially after both the Bears and Vikings iced him. Iced him? These kickers are "iced" all the time. How many times does it really un-nerve the kicker. How many game winners happen after the kicker is "iced". Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127931 really had nothing to do with the length though. He "shanked" it. Dude came a few yards from hitting a 66 yarder, you'd think a 47 yarder would be a gimme. Report
December 1, 201312 yr comment_127932 miserable day Gents..... lets be honest this team wouldn't have done a thing in the playoffs.. FU Vikings..... I F'ng hate them. Report

You don't freakin settle for a 47 yard Game winning FG with at least 2 downs to play with. If you lose yardage on two consecutive plays, you suck. Had the kick been inside of 40, kicking it would be understandable. Not 47. That is so damn conservative. Report

Had the kick been inside of 40, kicking it would be understandable. Not 47. hindsight is always 20/20. Gould nails it and we're not having this conversation. We were frankly lucky to even have a shot at winning because minny screwed up a golden shot to win. Report

The more plays you run, the more likely a stupid play is going to happen. Ask the Vikings about that one. Report

How many game winners happen after the kicker is "iced". http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/i...info-answered-2 What is the field goal accuracy rate after a kicker is “iced” compared to not being “iced?” – asked by @mikeregister Since 2001 (including the playoffs), kickers have successfully hit field goals at an 81 percent rate when no timeout was called prior to the snap, and 76 percent when a timeout was called. However, it’s worth noting that the average distance on “iced” kicks is 39 yards, compared to 36 yards on kicks on which timeout was not called. Also interesting: In overtime, the average distance of kicks after timeouts and kicks with no timeouts called is about the same (37 yards). In that instance, “icing the kicker” by calling timeout works. Kickers hit only 69 percent when “iced”, 87 percent when they are not. It matters. Especially on a 47 yarder and having to sit there through 2 time outs after warming up. They shouldn't have tried that on second down no matter how you look at it. Report

Ask the Vikings about that one. #1- He kicked it on 2nd down #2- It was 47 yards #3- It was 2nd down They had more downs to play with, 47 yards is not a chip shot, and you had been moving the ball down their throats for the majority of the game. Why settle? Report
