NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made $44.2 million in 2012, according to tax returns the league has submitted.

 

I wonder what the salary cap is for the league office? How about you take $12 million and give each team an extra $1 million in free salary cap paid by the league.

His genius came up with the "drafed Pro Bowl", where the players from the best teams can't play. He deserves every dollar... lol

He gets paid out of the owners cut. I could care less what they do with their money.

He did some good, though. He helped make sure those decrepit, whiney old-timers got a just barely enough of a settlement to make them go away.

 

Seriously though, Virginia McCaskey probably made more for doing way less. That's life in the big city.

I don't believe for a second that only 8 CEO's made more then Goodell. I think maybe in base comp sure, but that can't be factoring in the absurd bonuses some of these execs of large public companies make.
