  1. Past hour
  2. Swift sucks. 9 carries: 22 yards. No reason Monangai shouldn't be given an opportunity. They have to change something this half. One dimensional football against this defense is sub-optimal. Honestly, neither of these defenses have blitzed a lot. I expect that to change, especially from MIN in the 2nd half to generate something. Feels like a game where the first team to force a takeaway or have an explosive score might win. Bears missed a lot of opportunities in that half, including poor clock management by Johnson to take a timeout so early, to give MIN enough time to get in position for a FG.
  3. We have two sacks and Vikings 0, so far so good. I think its noisy for MInny and we are playing physical. Neither team can run. Jefferson 1 catch for 4 yards. No JJ and Gordon.
  4. Us winning this game will be determined if we get points out of the blocks in the second half.
  5. To many penalties Dayo and Sewell look good protection is pretty solid
  6. Run game has been basically non existent. Swift also seems to be missing some holes on cutbacks.
  7. Absolutely brutal OL performance. Dumbest line in football? High school teams are more disciplined than this.
  8. First drive TD drive was promising. Penalties need to be cut out, huge DPI on defense led to 3 pts for MIN and false starts killing the offense.
  9. I was trying to figure out who 55 was and its Dayo, he's all over the place.
  10. Today
  11. Caleb taking what is giving and I like what I am seeing. Those deeper shots will be there if they can establish the run action.
  12. Yesterday
  13. This game comes down to Caleb Williams and his development. He needs to take a step forward IMMEDIATELY and lead the team. The Bears need to be offensively focused rather than a traditionally defensive team. Bears 28-21
  14. And, of course, no Gordon OR Jaylon Johnson. Bears, for some reason, didn't elevate anybody from their practice squad for depth, so we could be looking at a safety playing corner if one of those guys goes down in this game.
  15. Thought we had to wait 4 years.... Year 1, JD made the playoffs and beat Tampa. No one is crowning him yet, but at least he performed and got his team further than we have seen in ages. If Caleb performs, then this talk about the other QBs won't matter. That is all I want to see because McCown, Grossman, Trubisky, and Fields all were hyped too.
  16. I agree! I keep telling myself it’s a good thing because I actually have expectations this year.
  17. For sure everyone paid attention to him.
  18. Future SB QB according to some.
  19. Add Sweat in there and those are the top 4 Ds. Unless Jarett is youthful again. I feel like Im taking my drivers test for the first time, anxiety, nervous and hyped waiting for the game to start.
  20. And was praised like the coming of Jesus...🤣
  21. Yeah for sure. Edwards is basically out. Johnson seems to be on a snap count, and Gordon was a last minute add, which is never a good sign.
  22. If Gordon, Edwards, and Johnson are all out, my opinion on the outcome of this game is going to take a dramatic shift. Those would be three brutal losses. Those are arguably your 3 best players on defense. Bears offense might have to play a lot of ball control, ground and pound football tonight to come away with a win, because this Bears secondary without those two guys is awful.
  23. He also had a couple of pressures. It wasn't a Mack game, but he definitely put her fuel in their pass rush.
  24. Year 2 QB - QBR Tracker Penix - 83.7 QBR - 298 yds, 1 TD, 1 sack, and 21 rushing yards. 319 Total Yards. Lost. Daniels - 55.1 QBR - 233 yds, 1 TD, 3 sacks, and 68 rushing yards. 301 Total Yards. Won. Maye - 39.3 QBR - 287 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT, 4 sacks, and 11 rushing yards. 298 Total Yards. Lost. Nix - 19.2 QBR - 176 yds, 1 TD, 2 INT, 1 sack, and 18 rushing yards + 1 fumble lost. 194 Total Yards. Won. A few things to note, Nix saw the 2nd lowest Pressure Rate of any QB this week at 18.6%, while Daniels saw the 3rd lowest Pressure Rate at 21.6%. Those two QBs had it easy, yet Nix looked really really bad for a QB at home in the 2nd year of the same offense. Penix saw the 5th highest pressure rate at 43.5% and still played really solid in a loss. Maye looked exactly like he did last year, a couple of good plays with more bad plays.
  25. He had 30 snaps. Van Ness had 36.
  26. He's listed as questionable for the game tonight. Did have a full practice Sat.
