My bad I thought for some reason he was taking about Braxton Jones playing well in playoffs and getting us a comp pick. You are right and it seems like no one knows for sure.
-
Also it seems like there is some uncertainty if Cunningham gets this job whether it would be eligible. Rapaport reported Ryan will have final say which makes this gig more akin to an asst gm role. No Rooney rule and Bears evidently could block him from interviewing. As much as I want Ian to get the gig - If Bears can block they should. Now if it is a true GM role and we get the picks…than best of luck to you Ian…otherwise you are here until you get that true GM gig (and I hope you get it)

I think thats for players? These are comp picks for losing a minority front office guy elevated to GM.
-
It depends on the size of the contract he gets. Than it also depends on how many we sign vs lose at a certain size (and signed by a certain time).
-
Does anyone know if Atlanta hires Ian as GM that because they hired Ryan as president, we wouldn't get our two comp picks. That sounds like a stupid take on the situation . Poles ain't going anywhere, what a stupid rumor .
-
Hope for the best for Ozzy but realize Braxton could end up having playing time which could elevate his off-season status to a team paying him 15+ and getting us a comp pick. Anyone know how the value works?

I avoided getting on here because of the negativity I was going to hear. As the second half started was hoping for something to hold on too. At the end of the quarter, I thought no chance we can win this game. The feed I was watching kept reloading so the game was about 10 minutes behind. Seen post game notifications pop up but stuck to the game feed. I was rewarded with a win. It's the middle of the day for me, I going to walk 10 miles listening to post game shows. I'm guilty of thinking we were going to lose. That won't happen again with Caleb and BJ running the offense.

I’m hoping we find out it is season ending but not as serious as it could be. Good thing is he is young.

That's a potentially career changing injury for Trapilo. The return rate for lineman who come back and don't get worse is pretty bad. Just awful. LT has to be back on the menu in the draft, unfortunately.
-
I hope somehow we find out that it isn’t ruptured or it is as minimal damage as possible. Very likely he misses a good chunk of next year and could be a career altering injury.
-
Incredible win but sucks for TJ and Trapillo. Both suffered significant injuries. Trapillo tore his patellar tendon and Edward’s broke his fibula. Hope they both have full recoveries. Anyone know what long term prognosis is for that type of injury for Trapillo. He had really been ascending. Presume this might mean he misses a chunk of next year too / impacts his ability to train.

We have our QB. The discussion is over. Caleb is a franchise QB. The Pack is no longer our owners, we got that monkey off of our back definitively. We won the division, and we beat them in the playoffs. It's OVER. Bears are the better team now. Lets see how far we can ride this. We either play the Rams or the Eagles next. We've beaten the Eagles already, and the Rams didnt look superhuman today against the Panthers. And then next year, with a pass rush, we are coming for it all.

7th comeback win when trailing with under 2 minutes to go this season, most in NFL history.

This is one of those games that would make a front office make a move. LaFleur rode Aaron Rodgers coattails to pad his W-L record, then dumped him for Jordan Love. They have only been the 7th seed with Love as QB, and there is always an excuse. LaFleur is the reincarnation of Marty Shottenheimer. Shottenheimer had a .613 Win% as a HC in the regular season, but only won 5 and lost 13 in the post season. His teams only made the Conference Championship once in 13 playoff seasons, and lost that one. Without Rodgers, LaFleur is 37-30-1 in the regular season, and now is 1-3 in the playoffs, losing his last 3. Dating back to last season, including GB's playoff loss last season, GB is 9-11-1 in their last 21 games played. They lost 3 straight to end last season and 5 straight to end this season.
