Bears signed Southern Illinois QB Nick Hill and Western Kentucky WR Curtis Hamilton. The Bills told Hill they'd take him with the No. 251 pick, but at the last minute went with CB Kennard Cox. Hill is a top-notch athlete and was an accurate passer at SIU. This is an ideal landing spot for the southpaw.

The TV crews camped out at Halas Hall awaiting the return of Cedric Benson, but the Bears’ running back did not meet his stated goal of rejoining the club’s offseason program today. Our special teams will be better this and be on top of the NFL once again. Sure we have a few holes to fill but that simple with all the players we have ready to step up. Gould is kicking the ball off well and they are going deep into the end zone. He has also made a 67 yard field goal in practice. Now if he can do this in a game then we have an added weapon. With hester changing field postion and a threat to take it all the way, making coaches not wanting to kick to him, and then you have Maynard the punter pinning the other team deep with kicks inside the 20.
