It doesn't really matter. There are two outstanding teams in the NFC and the rest are crap. Good teams find ways to win. Great teams win. So what if we barely make it to the playoffs. It will be a quick exit if we are not kicking it on all cylinders. We are not. Cutler hurt was devasting to our chances to make it far. We have old guys on defense that can still bring it. But watching them yesterday it was clear that they are looking at Hanie and saying.. We are screwed. There are no gimmie games in the NFL. The deflated crowd yesterday after every 3 and out was tough to see. I was even in shock going. damn we need some kind of spark. I didn't even yell at my tv. I layed…

-Said he doesn't want anything specific for Christmas. -Said if he gets something dumb for Christmas, he'll smile and say he loves it. -Said Cavallari knows better than to not get him anything for Christmas. (but here are more important ones) -Said Tebow has a lot to work on but works on them all day. -Said there's a slim chance he can play vs GB if the Bears win vs Seattle. -Said Hanie is doing better but Martz needs to continue to help him. -Said Barber did a lot of good in that game and nobody should solely blame him. -Said the D has been outstanding. Little recap for everyone.

Is it me, or does it just feel odd on yet another day when the quarterbacking for the bears is beyond atrocious, 2 castoffs (Orton, no so much a castoff albeit) perform well and provide big wins for their teams? Many of us have claimed that we simply cannot develop players. I'm not sure that's the case here...but it just makes me think. My dad brought the subject up to me. While we both agreed that Cutler is better than either of those 2...it was just kind of odd both did well while we floundered with no heart or brains yet again...
